Around 500 children from the four primary schools in Padiham are to gather in the Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 1, at 10am, to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.
Parents and members of the public are invited to attend and will be able to watch the procession of children along the Greenway leading to the park, from 9.00 am.
The Rev Mark Jones will lead the service and the Mayor of Padiham, along with members of the Royal British Legion, will attend.
