VOLUNTEERS are needed to deliver gentle exercise classes at Pendleside Hospice.
The Reedley-based charity needs volunteers to deliver seated and standing classes for half an hour to one hour per week at the day therapy unit.
Julia O’Neill, day therapy leader, said: “A basic understanding of delivering exercise is preferable but we are also very interested in hearing from trained instructors.
“Guidance at delivering sessions at the right level will be provided.
“We are hoping to offer a wide range of exercises so are keen to hear from people who specialise in yoga, pilates, tai chi, the Alexander technique, movement and dance or indeed anything which will appeal to our patients and promote a sense of well being.”
