YEAR 10 students from Colne Primet Academy attended a mock interview session as part of the Pendle Employability Award.
The award is designed to increase the employability of students, so that when they leave school they are in a better position to find gainful employment.
During the interviews, students were asked about themselves and how they would react in certain situations, after which they were assessed on their responses and conduct.
Careers adviser Sandra Tice said: “Students initially found the interview process a little daunting as they had no previous experience of a formal interview.
“However after being interviewed many said it has been a good, positive experience that will help them in the future when seeking employment.
“We are extremely grateful to the local employers and college staff who gave their time to conduct the interviews.”
