Church plays host to flower festival fun
RAMSBOTTOM residents can celebrate the town’s colourful community at a flower festival this weekend.
Businesses, organisations and individuals have created original floral arrangements that will be displayed at St Paul’s Church in Bridge Street until tomorrow.
The church will be open from 10am to 4pm today, and from 1pm to 4pm tomorrow.
Coffee, sandwiches, tea and cakes will be on sale and there will be a display of floral paintings by children at local schools.
The festival will end with a service of thanksgiving tomorrow at 4pm. Admission is £2 and children go free.
