SUMMERSEAT Methodist Primary School has been praised.
Inspectors from the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools said its ‘distinctiveness and effectiveness’ as a Methodist school was good.
They reported that ‘the promotion of Christian values within the school has an outstanding impact on pupils’, and that this is reflected in their ‘outstanding behaviour and attitudes’.
Headteacher Steven Ollis said: “We are especially pleased with the comments about the children’s outstanding behaviour and attitudes and how effective Christian ethos within the school is improving.”
Chair of governors Stephen Ogden said the report was ‘just reward’.
