FUNDRAISERS are celebrating after raising more than £26,000 for Cancer Research UK at the Relay for Life event in Rawtenstall.
A total of 379 people took part in the run at Marl Pits Leisure Centre, which also featured music, games and entertainment to mark the efforts of fundraisers throughout the year.
People who have survived cancer and their friends and family also took part in the challenge on Saturday, June 21.
A candle ceremony to remember those who have died from the disease, to support hose fighting it and celebrate those that have lived through it, was also held.
