SERVICEMEN from across Lancashire are being honoured at County Hall this week.
Lancashire County Council has been flying the Armed Forces Day flag all week in anticipation of the day of celebrations tomorrow.
The Armed Forces Day flag was presented to County Coun Kevin Ellard, chairman of Lancashire County Council, at a special ceremony by Lord Charles Shuttleworth, the Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire.
County Coun Ellard said: “This flag highlights the county council's appreciation of the contribution made by the UK's armed forces - past and present.
“People place their lives on the line when they serve in the armed forces. It's important that we take a moment to acknowledge their dedication.”
