HYNDBURN and Haslingden MP Graham Jones has been urging the government to improve relations with two key African countries.
At Westminster he told the coalition international development secretary Lynne Featherstone: “Because of the Government’s inconsistent policies, Britain’s relationships with Rwanda are fraying.
“What is being done to rebuild relationships, particularly given problems in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?”
Lynne Featherstone replied: “Relations are good. Rwanda is an exemplar in terms of development.”
