PATIENTS have just one more week to vote for NHS workers who are in the running for a ‘People’s Choice Award’.
Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, the county’s mental health provider, launched the awards as part of its annual staff celebration.
The nominees are health visitor Barbara Caren, psychologist Dr Isobel Horn, self-injury specialist Lorna Jellicoe-Jones and Angela Connelly, a patient and carer experience and involvement co-ordinator.
Heather Tierney-Moore, chief executive at Lancashire Care, said: “It was fantastic to read each nomination with so many positive stories and examples of excellence and compassionate care from within the various services.
