THERE has not been a significant increase in scarlet fever cases in Lancashire, say health officials.
Public Health England warned this week of an increase in Cumbria, where 36 cases have been confirmed this year. The number of cases in Lancashire was so small, releasing figures could breach patient confidentiality, claimed health bosses.
