GARRY John Buck, 41, of Tenterfield Street, Waterfoot, escaped a driving ban, after claiming to Chorley magistrates he needed his car for work.
But he was fined £220 with £85 costs and had six penalty points put on his licence after he was convicted of failing to give information relating to a Renault car suspected of committing an offence at Preston on August 24 last year.
