Cooker fire in Clayton-le-Moors
FIRE crews were called to a house in John Street, in Clayton-le-Moors after a cooker set on fire just after 1pm on Monday. The owner of the house called 999 after being alerted by a smoke alarm. The cooker was badly damaged.
