AN appeal to raise £40,000 to pay for specialist equipment to help a former professional rally co-driver has hit £18,950.
Chris Wood, 50, from Burnley, damaged two vertebrae at the top of his spinal cord in a bike fall two years ago which rendered him tetraplegic.
