ANGRY residents living near a Padiham alleyway between Morley Street and Sowerby Street, used as a dumping ground, have called for action to be taken to stamp out the problem. A Burnley Council spokesman stated that when people report fly tipping, the matter is dealt with quickly and effectively. If residents wish to apply for the back street to the ‘alleygated’ it would be considered.
