BT scam email alert
RESIDENTS are being warned about an email scam.
Sue Blackburn, watch liaison officer at Lancashire Police, said messages containing a link and a note about customer security and BT Network was a scam.
The email tells users to click on the link to restore account access. They are then told to log in and review their recent account history.
Anybody receving such a message should contact BT.
