OLDER people in Hyndburn have been invited to have their say about social isolation.
A consultation has been launched as part of a bid for lottery money to help tackle loneliness and to improve the wellbeing of the borough’s older people.
Hyndburn and Ribble Valley CVS has lodged a joint bid with other East Lancashire community groups for the Big Lottery Fund’s Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better programme.
The consultation will be held at Accrington Town Hall, in Blackburn Road, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm on Monday, February 17.
There are just 100 places available, so booking is essential.
