Bikers in line for security boost
FREE motorcycle chain locks and ground anchors will be given away tomorrow to Darwen residents with motorbikes and scooters by police.
The move comes after several motorcycle thefts.
Free anti-tamper number plate screws for car owners will also be handed out.
To register, residents must live in Darwen and Rural, register their interest by calling Amanda Grimshaw on 01254 222154, take proof of identity, residency and insurance, and take their bike or scooter.
The team will be on the Darwen Market rooftop car park from 10am to 2pm.
