Candles started blaze
CANDLES were blamed for a fire that started in an Oswaldtwistle bedroom yesterday morning.
Firefighters were called to the terraced address, in Blackburn Road, at 4am.
The home’s occupants had woken up by their smoke alarms, and were stood outside when two fire enginers arrived. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
