A ‘FOSSIL walk’ will be held in Great Harwood on Sunday. The two and-a-half mile walk will take in quarries, brooks, fossils, waterfalls, the railway, and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The walk, led by Nigel Brooke from Hyndburn Ramblers, will start in Highfield Road at 12.45pm.
Participants have been told to expect mud, stiles and gates.
Children under the age of 16 must be with an adult, and dogson a lead.
