RUNNERS have been told to dust off their trainers, dig out their running kit and to take part in a charity run in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle.
Three runs will be held in aid of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on March 23, covering one, three and six miles. People who want to walk the distance can also join and there is no minimum age, although children under 16 must join a team of adults.
Sport Relief is a charity event from Comic Relief, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in the UK and overseas.
