WORK is set to start to install new doors and new disabled access to the Trinity Methodist Church in Clitheroe.
The plans, which also included the removal of the ‘unsafe’ projecting organ lost and installing new flues to serve the replacement boiler, have been approved by Ribble Valley Borough Council. In a report outlining the decision for the Wesleyan Row church, a could spokesman said: “I consider, in relation to the doorway alterations, that the proposed details are well considered and would not undermine the character of an identified building of townscape merit.”
