SHOPPERS and stallholders have been asked to choose their top 40 love songs to be played in a special programme made exclusively for Blackburn Market on Valentine’s Day.

Customers and traders are being invited to vote for their top romantic tunes for a special collection broadcast across the market on Friday between noon and 2pm.

Commercial manager David Smith said: “A survey with a sample song list to choose from will be completed over the next two weeks.

“We will provide suggestions but we’d like people to pick their own and also tell us their stories behind why they have chosen them.”
