FORMER Foreign secretary and Blackburn MP Jack Straw said the American TV series Breaking Bad demonstrates the value of the NHS.
Walter White, the show’s main character, in the has inoperable lung cancer and turns to a life of crime, to pay for his treatment.
Mr Straw said: “One of the things that makes Breaking Bad so good is it could be about you or I, with one essential difference.
“No one here in Britain has to find the money to pay for their healthcare.”
