A STUDY is set to explore the link between bipolar and suicidal thoughts in East Lancashire.
The team from Lancaster University and the Spectrum Centre for Mental Health Research are looking for local volunteers to take part.
They are exploring the issue of suicide in different regions with the aim of improving research into the topic. We're looking for people with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder in Lancashire to take part in an interview study.
It comes after deputy prime minister Nick Clegg has also recently pledged to ‘bring mental health out of the shadows’ and reduce the stigma attached to such issues.
Researchers are hoping for people with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder in East Lancashire will take part.
