A FURNITURE store in Colne has thanked customers who helped raise more than £219,000 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) furniture and electrical stores.
To celebrate, the Colne DFS store, on Boundary Retail Park, is holding a special ‘Ramp up the Red’ today.
There will be activities at the store all day with staff wearing red, and customers can donate £2 to take part.
DFS store manager Andy Brown said: “Our free collection service helps customers dispose of their unwanted sofas in a safe, convenient and sustainable way while raising money for the BHF and putting hundreds of sofas in new homes.”
