Euro dole payouts proposal ‘madness’
THE UK should ignore an order by the Council of Europe to double dole payments, says North West MEP Paul Nuttall.
The council, which oversees the European Court of Human Rights, described payments to Britain’s jobless as ‘manifestly inadequate’.
UKIP Euro-MP for the North West and deputy leader Mr Nuttall said: “This is sheer madness.
“The UK is trying to reform our benefits system, and Eurocrats are demanding we head off in the other direction and double handouts.”
