SCHOOLCHILDREN in Burnley will lay crosses in memory of those who lost their lives in the First World War.
The Little Children Weak scheme, backed by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will be launched in Towneley Park next Tuesday.
The crosses will represent each of the 4,212 soldiers from Burnley and Padiham who died in the conflict.
