AN interim anti-social behaviour order has been secured by council bosses in Burnley against an alleged persistent troublemaker and beggar.
Adrian Wilkinson, 32, of no fixed address, had the order imposed by Burnley magistrates after an application by the borough council. Wilkinson is said to have repeatedly been caught begging and harassing shop staff and members of the public.
He must not act in an anti-social manner, including using abusive language, swearing and offensive hand gestures, until a full hearing can take place on April 22. He is also barred from the town centre except for medical or legal appointments.
