Bridge delay hits traffic
RUSH hour traffic was delayed last night over a pedestrian on a bridge.
The incident occurred near junction one of the M66 at Ramsbottom and the junction with the A56 at Rawtenstall.
Police were called at 4.45pm and the road was closed in both directions.
Delays of around 20 minutes were caused.
