GRADE I listed Astley Hall is to open throughout the winter for the first time. The Chorley hall usually closes between Christmas and Easter.
However, this winter, although it will close on December 15, it will reopen from Saturday, January 4.
Meanwhile, two new exhibitions open this week – the Chorley Lodge Artists will be holding their annual exhibition from November 9 and top dance photographer Nicola Selby will have a display until December 15.
