JAKE Berry, MP for Rossendale, volunteered his time to raise more than £50 for the Royal British Legion.
The Conservative MP sold Remembrance Day poppies, in Union Road, Bacup.
Mr Berry said: “I was delighted to have had the opportunity to raise money for such a fantastic cause. It is really important that we recognise those who have given their lives in service, and those serving in the armed forces who keep the rest of us safe.
“I hope everyone has been wearing their poppies with pride, so that the charity can continue to provide such vital support.”
