BURNLEY MP Gordon Birtwistle has told energy minister and Lib Dem colleague Ed Davey in the Commons: “New nuclear power will secure our electricity supply in future.
“This should have been done 10 years ago by the previous government.”
Mr Davey said: “I strongly agree. Climate change is such a serious threat to our world that all forms of low-carbon electricity need to be used.”
