SKIPTON Building Society in Colne will be hosting a coffee morning to raise funds for Children in Need.
The branch in Albert Road will be offering tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits for the BBC charity appeal on Friday, November 15.
Deborah Kirby, branch manager, said: “We really wanted to do something to help raise money for such a worthy cause and will be carry out fundraising fun and frolics in the branch.
“It really tugs on your heart strings when you see disadvantaged children.
“The work Children in Need do is fantastic and if we can help support just one child with our fundraising then we will be delighted, even if we do look a bit silly in the process.
“I’d like to encourage anyone who would like to support this cause to pop into our branch.
