A CLITHEROE supermarket has beaten off competition from stores across the country to be named as the best Food Bank campaigners.
The Duck Street Tesco store held a food donating drive on July 5 and July 6 and raised 1,755kg of produce over the two days.
The store also donated spare shelving units to the towns Food Bank.
Deputy store manager Graham Buckle said that he was very proud of all of the staff and the volunteers who helped out over the two days.
