BLACKBURN’S new Spiritualist Church is to open its doors at 1pm tomorrow. The opening follows a long saga over moving the building from St Peter Street to the new site, in Montague Street. More than 150 guests are expected, including David Bruton, president of the Spiritualist National Union, and Coun Maureen Bateson.
The old church will be demolished, to make way for a new link road extension.
