FLYERS are being distributed by Blackburn with Darwen council to ensure passengers know which bus stops in the town centre can be used.
This includes those to travel to and from the new temporary bus station after the closure of the old one on the Boulevard.
Council regeneration boss Maureen Bateson said: “We would like to reassure residents and businesses that the council is doing all it can to ensure that bus passengers have a range of options to enable them to easily get to shops, and are able to make onward connections by bus and train.
“We will be widely distributing leaflets with information on to the market and local shops to help.
“Unfortunately, I understand that for some people the inconvenience while work on new town centre developments take place is unavoidable, but we will work to ensure this is kept to a minimum.”
