A 29-YEAR-OLD man from Nelson pleaded guilty to possessing a small amount of cannabis and stealing £40.
William Connelly, of Temple Street, was caught in possession of the class B drug in Burnley on October 12. On the same day, Connelly stole £40 cash from a woman in Nelson.
Burnley magistrates sentenced Connelly to wearing an electronic tag and a home curfew between 7pm and 7am until December 13. He was also made to pay £145.
