PREPARATIONS are underway for Whalley Live Music Festival, which will take place from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1.
The weekend’s line-up is made up of local musicians and bands, including soul, rhythm and blues band Rambunkshus, rock ’n’ roll performer George Borowski, and blind solo guitarist David Connolly, from Blackburn.
Music events will take place in all four of the village’s pubs, The DeLacy, The Dog Inn, The Whalley Arms, and The Swan Hotel.
Margaret Twist, one of the organisers, said: “The past two events have been a huge success and it has put Whalley back on the map.
“Hopefully, lots of people will turn up and support the pubs and musicians, and it should be a fantastic weekend.”
