A PROJECT that provides social and therapeutic activities for people with mental health problems has received £10,000 from the National Lottery’s Awards for All scheme.
The Pyramid Project started in 2007 and meets at the Vanguard Centre, in Burnley, from 9am to 2pm on Monday and Tuesday, and from 9am to 1pm on Thursday. A spokesman for the project said: “Our funding will help towards the running of activities and the continuity of our community group, so that our service users have somewhere safe to come and meet their friends.”
Admission to the events is 25p with an optional lunch at £2 per day and tea and coffee at 50p
