HEALTH chiefs have confirmed that 15 ambulances in East Lancashire needed an engine replacement.
Yesterday the Lancashire Telegraph reported how engine faults had led to three vehicle fires in the North West Ambulance Service fleet, prompting bosses to replace the engines in about 100 of their Mercedes 515s across the region.
