A WOMAN involved in a ‘repeated and sustained’ gang attack on a man at his home, could be facing jail.
Burnley magistrates heard how Rachel Ashworth, 28, admitted ‘booting’ the victim Antonio Cressoti’ and using a ‘weapon’. Mr Cressoti was said, by the prosecution, to have been “deliberately targeted”.
Ashworth, of Hall Street, Colne, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm, at Nelson, on June 16. She was sent on bail to the crown court for sentence, on September 23.
after the bench said its powers of punishment were not sufficient.
The defendant must not contact the victim.
