A COUNCILLOR is welcoming news of new dropped kerbs in his ward.
Milnshaw councillor Paul Cox said he was delighted several had been installed along Lupin Road in Accrington.
These crossings have now linked together access points from the Milnshaw estate into Accrington town centre.
Coun Cox said: ”This allows wheelchairs and mobility scooters the option of travelling into town and enabling the users to also access local supermarkets and all town centre services.
“I have campaigned to get these crossings installed to help people in Milnshaw with limited mobility travel to town without the need for assistance.”
