PLANS to build two homes next to 36 Clarence Street, Darwen, have been pulled.
As reported in the Lancashire Telegraph in May, Martin Vizzard wanted to build houses on wasteland he owned that was causing concern for residents.
The land, which formerly housed a garage, is used by drivers as a cut-through to get round bollards preventing Clarence Street becoming a rat-run.
Mr Vizzard said at the time the council refused previous plans to put the homes on the land because they did not include enough off-street parking.
