YOUNGSTERS walked on custard and guessed the number of balloons inside a Mini to raise £2,400 for good causes.
The charity event at Haslingden High School saw students run an array of stalls and competitions and select the organisations they wanted their spoils to be donated to.
Ronald McDonald House, Bury RSPCA, Macmillan Cancer Care, Rossendale Hospice, Help For Heroes, Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary were a few of the charities to benefit.
Teachers were put in the stocks and paid for the privilege to soak them with sponges and buckets of water.
A collection of owls from Talons Birds of Prey were brought along and students could hold an owl for a £1 donation.
