PLANS for Burnley’s second annual beer festival are under way.
The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) event will kick off at the Burnley Mechanics on Thursday, September 5, and run until late on Saturday.
It will celebrate everything real ale and feature live music from local bands while transforming the venue into the county’s biggest beer cellar.
With more than 90 varieties of the beverage on offer, and also featuring selected wine, cider, fruit beer and soft drinks.
Councillor John Harbour said: “Last year we welcomed thousands of guests and had some really positive feedback.”
