MUSLIMS have been encouraged to stop smoking during Ramadhan, and to continue to kick the habit once the festival finishes.
The Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust Stop Smoking Service team will be visiting local mosques during Ramadhan to raise awareness of the dangers to health from smoking cigarettes and also shisha, which has grown in popularity among young people.
