PENDLE Council leader Joe Cooney will go online to answer questions from residents tomorrow.
The ‘Tweet the Leader’ event will run on Twitter and Facebook between 6 and 7pm.
Coun Cooney said: “I’ve found that using social media is a really quick and easy way of keeping in touch with the people of Pendle. They can tweet me or Facebook me their questions or concerns.People have raised all kinds of issues this way, from queries about funding for local community projects to bigger issues like their concerns with the changes to the benefits system. I always respond to as many as I can and we have some interesting discussions.”
Anyone wanting to get involved should tweet @CllrJoeCooney or write on Pendle Council’s Facebook wall between 6pm and 7pm.
