CLITHEROE Royal Grammar School's Commemoration Day Service takes place today.
In a ceremony which dates back to 1622, the staff, governors, and invited guests, including the Mayor of Ribble Valley, will travel down Church Street with staff and students lining the street.
This year’s preacher is the Revd Paul Wheelhouse, former Carlisle Diocesan youth officer and current assistant curate at Burley in Wharfedale, Bradford Diocese. The event starts at 10.30am.
