TOCKHOLES village will be provided with five one ton bags of grit and salt to combat the icy road conditions.
The loads will be sited at strategic locations.
Yellow bins will still be filled when necessary.
Blackburn with Darwen Council asks that it is used sparingly and sensibly because more may not be available as gritting wagons take priority.
