A national cinema chain is launching a new scheme where tickets for under £5 are up for grabs on one day of the week.

Showcase Cinemas is starting a 'Saver Mondays' initiative where people can see any film on the day for £4.99.

The reduced deal will be available for cinema-goers to claim from Monday, September 16.

Guests will be able to enjoy films such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Critic, Speak No Evil, It Ends with Us, Deadpool & Wolverine and more that are currently playing.

How to claim the 'Saver Mondays' deal

To get the £4.99 ticket offer, people will need to sign up to become an Inside member which can be done at the Showcase Cinemas website here.

This is a free service where people can get "exclusive discounts, earn rewards on all transactions, and get access to members-only advanced screenings".

At specific branches, the cost will be slightly higher with it being £5.99 at Southampton and Reading and £6.99 at Bluewater.

Other cinemas offering cheap tickets

Some other cinema chains are offering cheap tickets at the time of writing, with one of those being Odeon.

They are offering £5 tickets every day of the week if you're a MyOdeon member and book online.

If people are buying tickets in person at a branch then the cost is slightly higher at £6.50.

Additionally, if you're a Three mobile customer, you can get a code for a £3 adult cinema ticket via the Three+ rewards app.

This can apply to the Cineworld and Picturehouse chains for any 2D movie once a week at any time on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
